The authors can choose to submit their article via regular mail or via web site. If you would like to send the manuscript by regular mail, please follow the steps described below:

· Each manuscript is to be submitted as an original with four copies, four sets of illustrations and a disk or CD containing all manuscript saved (Text should be saved in Word document and the figures should be saved in Corel Draw, JPG or TIF document with high resolution - 300 dpi - or presented in glossy photographs or as high-quality laser prints on bond paper);

· For submission to Letters to the Editor, Clinical Infectious Diseases Images or the Editor’s Corner, an original and one copy are required.

· All articles should be followed by a cover letter.

· The manuscripts should be sent to Carlos Brites, Editor-in-Chief and to the Editorial Office of The Brazilian Journal of Infectious Diseases.
